Saturday, January 19: RUBY IBARRA | BALIKBAYANS

After delivering an amazing one-year anniversary performance of Circa 91, Ruby Ibarra and her band, the Balikbayans, will be bringing the show to the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. With DJ ET IV, Faith Santilla, and performances from Bootleg Orchestra, Travis Atreo, and surprise guests.

Saturday, January 26: ROCKY RIVERA

Rocky Rivera will be screening her iPhone X-shot video, “Best Shot,” at Apple Union Square in San Francisco, with director @Been.Milky. Additionally, they will teach a demo on shooting your own music video with just your phone, and have a special performance with the legendary DJ Celskiii.

Saturday, February 2: LEXICON

To kick off 2019, Lex the Lexicon Artist dropped a new project called
Special: A Mob Psycho 100 EP, on January 7th, with badass graphics for cover art!! In addition to her brilliant smart rap, Lex is also a bonafide event organizer, and offers the Bay another line up of great musicians, featuring Richie Branson Shubzilla x Bill Beats, and Chris Songco, at the Elbo Room in Oakland on February 2nd.

Saturday, February 16: BAMBU

Bambu will be embarking on a three-city tour with DJ Phatrick, Golden Age Society, Faith Santilla, and Sendai Era, coming to the New Parish in Oakland on February 16th. The tour continues in Seattle at The Crocodile on February 20th, and in Los Angeles at Bootleg Theater on February 23rd.

DJ Flow— producer and videographer— of At The Ave Records dropped a special project named “Winter Sketches” on December 28th, featuring Mani Draper, Spote Breeze, Pass, Moe Green, and Idiogenius. There are many ways to express needing time and needing space to get through what’s got you.. this 16-track album is a storm of heavy beats made for carving out that much-needed time.
